Arel C. Ondoy, DMD
Dr. Arel C. Ondoy is your local dentist for general and emergency dental care in the South Suburbs.
Dr. Ondoy was born in Chicago and moved to the South Suburbs in 1976. He graduated from Loyola University of Chicago in 1986 with his degree in biology. He then graduated from the Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine in 1990.
Dr. Ondoy served and trained as U.S. Army Dentist and Officer at Ft. Knox, KY, during Desert Storm (1990-1994).
Dr. Ondoy is skilled in all forms of dentistry, with over 30 years of experience. He is a devout Catholic who enjoys doing charity work. As part of our commitment to community service and spiritual care, our practice is honored to provide complimentary dental services to Catholic clergy. We recognize the vital role they play in supporting others, and this is our way of giving back to those who dedicate their lives to service.
Mary Shah-Cox, DDS
Dr. Mary Shah-Cox grew up in Frankfort, Illinois, where she attended Lincoln Way High School.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of Illinois in Champaign. Dr. Cox then attended Northwestern University Dental School and received her DDS degree in 1997.
Dr. Cox has been practicing dentistry for over 27 years. In her free time, Dr. Cox enjoys gardening, reading, running, and travelling with her family.
Alexander Hutnik, DMD
Dr. Alex Hutnik grew up in Orland Park, where he attended Carl Sandburg High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago and attended the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his DMD in 2014.
Dr. Alex had been working in the field of dentistry since 2007, and in his spare time, enjoys books, movies, music, and spending time with family and friends.
Jessica Sargeson, DDS
Dr. Jessica Sargeson grew up in the San Francisco bay area in Benicia, California. She later earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Biology at University of California Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo in 2013, where she was also a competitive Track and Field student-athlete. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2019.
Dr. Jessica has ample experience working with the geriatric population having provided dental care to patients in nursing homes and home-care settings since 2023. She has continued to expand her clinical skills through ongoing continuing education to provide the best care to her patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Jessica enjoys painting, reading, weight lifting, running, live music, and playing with her two rescue cats -- Cha-cha and Kyle.
